SHELBY, NC, 9/14/05 – Hale Products, manufacturer of the Hurst Jaws of Life® and Centaur rescue tools, recently announced their expansion into the Scrap/Recycling Industry with a new line of high powered industrial cutters.
Worldwide, Hurst and Centaur rescue tools are preferred by First Responders due to their high power and relative light weight. These same attributes make the tools appealing to the scrap/recycling market. However, all rescue tools are designed for intermittent use and do not stand up to the daily use in the scrap/recycling market. Hence a need was recognized for a re-engineered version of the popular tools designed for the rigors of industrial use. The re-engineered tool line is sold under the LUKAS Industrial brand name.
Tools within the line are used to remove catalysts, cut bar stock up to 3/4”, cable, pipe to 2 1/2” Schedule 40, as well as dismantle vehicles and appliances. Blades cut almost any material except hardened steel, and are available to match most applications. Advice on proper tool selection as well asa free test cutting of a sample of material is available.
Dealers for the Scrap/Recycling tools include GENSCO (Toronto and Atlanta)
and Alan Ross Machinery (Northbrook, IL) Visit www.lukasindustrial.com <http://www.lukasindustrial.com/> for more information.
